91, formerly of Superior and currently residing in Columbia Heights, Minn., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at Crest View Lutheran Home in Columbia Heights.
Clara was born in Detroit Lakes, Minn., May 30, 1916, the daughter of John and Maude May Schaefer.
She is survived by her three sons, Jack (Marge) Clark of Superior, Jerry (Sue) Clark of Woodland, Wash. and Jim (Denise) Clark, Superior; her daughter, Jill (Chuck) Clark of Fridley, Minn.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Stanley Ekelund on March 16, 1992; her first husband, Jack William Clark; and her brothers and sisters.
She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. She would light up with a big smile when they walked into her room.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday and the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, both in Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th St. The Rev. Dave Kebschull, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Greg Clark, David Clark, Thomas Johnson, Mike Mikrot, Mikie Mikrot and Steven Udeen. A honorary pallbearer will be Andy Udeen.
