A pro-life prayer rally and candlelight prayer vigil takes place noon to 1 p.m. Thursday outside the Building for Women, 32 E. First St., Duluth. At 7 p.m., there will be a candlelight prayer vigil in front of the courthouse in Duluth, on the corner of Fifth Avenue and First Street.
At the candlelight vigil, community leaders and pastors lead participants in prayer to remember the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, and the 50 million abortions which have taken place since 1973.
This is an ecumenical pro-life gathering. All pro-life people are invited to participate and take a stand against abortion. Call Jim Tuttle at (218) 393-4954 for more information.
