Jam with The Jumpin' Jehosafats beginning 7 p.m. Friday at Chester Bowl, 1801 East Skyline Parkway, Duluth. The group's vocals and instrumentals mix equal parts of traditional jazz and Gospel with some Dixieland. The Jehosafats have been playing benefit concerts for United Methodist projects, Habitat for Humanity and disaster relief for many years.
Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
The event is sponsored by The Big Waters District of the Minnesota Conference of the United Methodist Church and Twin Ports United Methodist Ministries.
Donations will be accepted for Operation Classroom, a United Methodist mission project that provides education for children in Africa and the Caribbean.
