Country Peace Church offers vacation Bible school from Aug. 18-22 at the church, 4694 S. County Road A in the town of Superior. Grade school kids of all ages and denominations are welcome to "A Piece of Country at Country Peace Church." Activities run 9 a.m. to noon each day with a family picnic to close out the week. A special visitor from Portugal, Isabel Valente, shares her gifts with the children during the week. Refreshments served each day.
Country Peace is one of the six Presbyterian churches of Pioneer Parish in Douglas and Bayfield counties. The others are Brule Presbyterian Church (Brule), First Presbyterian Church (Gordon), Calvary Presbyterian Church (Iron River), First Presbyterian Church (Lake Nebagamon), and First Presbyterian Church (Solon Springs).
The Brule church will also offer Vacation Bible School 9-11:30 a.m. the week of Aug. 18-22.
