Church: Church hosts wine, cheese tasting event

The Third Annual St. Anthony Taste of Autumn Wine and Cheese runs 6-8 p.m. Sept. 25 at the air-conditioned parish center in Lake Nebagamon. Tickets are $20 each and are available by calling the church office at 374-3570. The event highlights Wisconsin cheeses and wines from Trade River Winery of Grantsburg, along with a food sampling including smoked Lake Superior trout, meatballs, mushrooms, mini cheesecakes and much more. A silent auction features homemade items, services, art and sporting tickets. Proceeds will benefit the church's new building fund.
