University Theatre presents the exciting and inspiring children's play "Wiley and the Hairy Man" Feb. 19-21 and Feb. 26-28 in Manion Theater at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Set deep within the mysterious Tombigbee Swamp, "Wiley and the Hairy Man" is the story of a young, fatherless boy, his mother, his faithful dog, and the Hairy Man who haunts Wiley's days and dreams. In a duel of wits, Wiley learns to rely on himself and conquers two villains: the Hairy Man and his own fear.
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19, 20, 26 and 27, and at 1 p.m. Feb. 21 and 28.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, $6 for children, and $2 for UWS students with valid student identification. Groups of 10 or more are $6 per person.

All proceeds from ticket sales for the Feb. 27 performance will be donated to the Animal Rescue Federation of Superior. A donation jar for ARF will be set out at each of the play's performances.
