82, Iron River, died Nov. 25, 2007, in his home. Cal was a lifelong area resident.
He owned and operated Northwest Outlet in Superior and numerous business enterprises in Iron River and Poplar.
Cal is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters, Sue (Dan) Lien and Betsy Miller Jones; two sons, David (Mary) Miller and Carl (Susan) Miller; and 12 grandchildren.
On Thursday, a public visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 1:45 p.m. Masonic funeral service in Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th St. A private family service and committal prayers will be held later. Also on Thursday, a reception for Cal's family and friends will be held at the Billings Park Civic Center from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
If desired, memorials in Cal's name may be made to the Bong Heritage Center, the Shrine Children's Hospital, the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donor's choice.
