The Friends of the Superior Public Library need your donations of gently used books for their spring book sale. The group is asking for both paperbacks and hardcover fiction and nonfiction for adults and children. Used CDs, DVDs and videos are also welcome, as are current issues of popular magazines. Encyclopedias having copyrights earlier than 1990 cannot be accepted. All materials must be in good condition.
Books can be dropped off at the library's circulation desk during regular hours: Monday through Thursday from 9-8:30 p.m. Friday from 9-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10-2 p.m.
Anyone having a large amount of books to donate may arrange for pick-up by calling 392-1574.
The annual book sale will be held Friday and Saturday, April 23-24. All proceeds are used to purchase new library materials.
