The Black Student Union's annual Poetry Reading, a Celebrate Diversity Party, and a soul food dinner highlight the events to be held at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in February in observance of Black History Month. All events are open to the public.
Scheduled events include:
Feb. 13: The Black Student Union presents a Poetry Reading featuring readings of works by African-American authors 3-4 p.m. in the Multicultural Center, Room 232, in Old Main.
Feb. 20: The Black Student Union presents a soul food dinner featuring a guest speaker and entertainment followed by a dinner of traditional African-American food and desserts. Dinner runs at 6-8:30 p.m. in the Rothwell Student Center Ballroom.
Tickets are $13 for adults, $8 for students and $5 for children ages 5-12.

Feb. 29: The Black Student Union holds a Celebrate Diversity Party from 8 p.m. to midnight in the Multicultural Center, Room 232, in Old Main.
