Berger, Walsh win again for SHS netters

The Superior High School boys tennis team improved to 3-4 with a 4-3 win over the Cloquet Lumberjacks Thursday evening at the Superior Middle School tennis courts.

The Superior High School boys tennis team improved to 3-4 with a 4-3 win over the Cloquet Lumberjacks Thursday evening at the Superior Middle School tennis courts.

The Spartans' No. 1 doubles team of Corbin Walsh and Eric Berger also improved to 5-1 on the season with a 7-6, 6-4 win over Cloquet's Ryan Kedrowski and Jon Hammit.

Also winning for Superior were Trent VanDamme, Zac Erickson and the doubles duo of Aaron Emmert and Nick Goble.

The Spartans are at Duluth Denfeld at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
