It's time again to put the sparkle on Superior and Douglas County's landscape.

The holiday lighting contest, open to all Superior and Douglas County residents, gets underway. Entries are being accepted through Dec. 5.

There is no cost to enter, but for every entry, a $5 donation goes to the Harbor House Crisis Shelter from the Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

Judging takes place 6-10 p.m. Dec. 9-11. Prizes are awarded in several categories including best use of lights, ambassadors' choice, spirit award and masters' division

Award winners will be announced in The Daily Telegram.
