The Northwestern baseball team dropped a game to Heart O' North opponent Chetek, 4-1, Tuesday night at Northwestern.

Chetek took the early lead with a run in the first inning, but the Tigers scored a run of their own in the second to tie the game at one. The Bulldogs reclaimed their lead with a run in the fifth inning and then added two more runs in the seventh to seal the 4-1 victory.

Kory Mickelson had a big game for Chetek. He scored three of the team's four runs while going 2-for-4. Mike Schaaf also had two hits for Chetek, and Brad Bowers, Shawn Sanders and Blake Bowers each added one.

For Northwestern, five players collected hits: Justin Kaiser, Michael Lindsey, John Rautio, Kyle Standon and Zac Vantil.

The Tigers play at home against Bloomer at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
