Former Superiorite Steve Bachand had been awarded Worldloppet Master No. 2846 for his achievements at different cross country ski races around the world.
As of April there were 2,888 Masters, of which 176 are from the USA.
Besides Hayward's American Birkebeiner, Bachand has completed races in Germany, Italy, Austria, Canada, Australia, Japan, Norway, Estonia and Finland. The 10 races totaled approximately 544 kilometers in length.
