The 14-year-old Barnes girl who was found dead Wednesday, the apparent victim on an ATV crash, has been identified.
Caitelyn N. Worth was reported missing Tuesday night. The Bayfield County Sheriff's Office said that the girl was reported missing at about 10 p.m. Tuesday; she left her home earlier in the day on an ATV and had not been seen by her family since.
Authorities conducted a search of the area, and Bayfield County sheriff's deputies found the girl at about 4 a.m. Wednesday on an unmarked logging road about two miles from her home.

"It was apparent that she had died of injuries consistent with an ATV accident rollover," the sheriff's office reported. "She was wearing a helmet and it appears she lost control of her ATV on a curve that had standing water from previous rains."
The Bayfield County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Department of Natural Resources and the Bayfield County Coroner are investigating the incident.
Barnes is located in Bayfield County about 40 miles southeast of Superior.
