A 13-year-old boy critically injured in an ATV crash last week has died.
Logan Rautio of Saginaw passed away Saturday, said his father, Scott Rautio.
The ATV crash north of Duluth occurred on Jan. 16.
Logan Rautio had remained in critical condition in a Duluth hospital throughout the week after he had been airlifted to Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth following the crash in Fredenberg Township.
Logan had been riding a three-wheeler at the end of a driveway Monday when he slid into a snowbank and was thrown from the ATV into a metal post or junction box near a home on the 6500 block of Stevens Road, near Island Lake.

Rautio was an experienced rider but was not wearing a helmet, authorities previously reported.
