Arrowhead Manufacturers & Fabricators Association meets Wednesday.

Steve Rossini, Hibbing Community College, presents "Social Media in Business: What's Possible and What's Effective." Social media accounts for nearly 22 percent of the activities that occur online. The steady growth and success of social media is proving to be an excellent medium for business marketing, promotion and sales. There are, however, some drawbacks to its use. Meeting participants will learn about some of the popular social media sites and programs available and discuss ways they can be leveraged for today's businesses.

The meeting begins at noon at Silicon Energy; lunch served.

Following lunch, the group tour Silicon Energy. Since its start, Silicon Energy has pursued the mission of providing locally made PV modules to communities. The company enables residential, commercial, and utility projects to be graced with its aesthetically unique modules while delivering unmatched performance in energy harvest, durability, safety and longevity.

The AMFA meeting is open to current and prospective members. Register for the lunch by contacting LeeAnn Rostberg at the AMFA office at (877) 330-2632 or leeannr@runestone.net .
