Hundreds of kids benefited from the generosity of people in the area last year. And Security State Bank is seeking help again to help more this holiday season as it launches the 16th annual Toys for Tots and Teens.
Area families are invited sign up for free gifts at Security State Bank, Iron River, Brule or Port Wing. The gifts collected will then be distributed at Security State Bank in Iron River, 1-4 p.m., Dec. 15.
The toy drive supplied gifts to over 290 children last Christmas up from 170 children the year before. Many community members, businesses and organizations contributed gifts and money. Bank personnel and area volunteers used the money donated to shop for additional toys and gifts.
