The family of Thomas and Claudia Sawyer are celebrating the couple's 50th wedding anniversary on Friday at the Comfort Inn on 40th Avenue West, Duluth.
The Sawyers will be celebrating with their children, David and Kelly Impola, Sarah, and Todd and Cindy Sawyer; grandchildren, Alicia and Nick; and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Lola.
The Sawyers were married Feb. 16, 1957, at First Methodist Church.
