Annette M. Tribbey,

87, lifelong Superior area resident, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, in Madison. She was born May 10, 1920, in Superior, to George and Theresa (Stramer) Huber. She graduated from the former Cathedral High School. She married Robert Tribbey on Jan. ...

87, lifelong Superior area resident, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, in Madison.

She was born May 10, 1920, in Superior, to George and Theresa (Stramer) Huber.

She graduated from the former Cathedral High School.

She married Robert Tribbey on Jan. 4, 1945, and celebrated 38 years of marriage before he passed away in 1983.

Annette was employed as a clerk at Lignell Drug Store with 40 years of service, retiring in 1982.

She enjoyed playing card and board games, especially cribbage and Yahtzee, with family and friends.

She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas, Court 1190 and the Catholic Order of Foresters, Court 372.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Debra) Tribbey Jr., Hudson, Fla., and Gary (Karen) Tribbey, Sun Prairie; sister, Lucille (Joseph) Idziorek, Appleton; six grandchildren, Kellie and Nicole Tribbey, Kimberly (Jason) Eck, Kristi (Todd) Clouthier, Angela (Louis Lane) Quam and Beth (Michael) Murphy; four great-grandchildren, Sam, Alex, Quentin and Jaxton.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brother, Clarence Huber and her parents, George and Theresa Huber.

Visitation begins Tuesday with a Rosary at noon led by the Catholic Daughters of Americas and the Catholic Order of Foresters in Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continues until the 1 p.m. Mass of Christian burial with the Very Rev. Daniel Dahlberg as celebrant.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, the American Cancer Society or Hospice Care Incorporated, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
