MADISON -- Led by Jolene Anderson's season-best 28 points, the Wisconsin women's basketball team won its 10th game of the year with a 75-46 victory over Albany Sunday at the Kohl Center. Janese Banks also earned her first double-double of the year with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

"Jolene and Janese are really coming in on the glass and doing a nice job. Jolene ended up with six steals, 28 points, four assists, a bunch of rebounds, and only one turnover. That's a pretty solid game for quite a good player. Janese Banks had a double-double, so we're getting good perimeter play."

Wisconsin, who is allowing just 50.7 points per game, continued its strong defensive efforts against Albany. The Great Danes shot just 34 percent from the field (18-of-53) and were outrebounded by the Badgers 27-50, including an 18-5 deficit in offensive boards. UW also finished with nine steals, including a season-best six from Anderson.

Anderson and Banks were the only players to reach double figures in the scoring category for the Badgers (10-1), but eight other players were able to put up points. Junior Caitlin Gibson had six scores and four rebounds while point guard Rae Lin D'Alie finished with five points and six rebounds. Danielle Ward also added five points and seven boards.

Amanda Ward led Albany (2-7) with 16 points.
