Why are you running for school board? "It’s good to have fresh perspective. There’s not that many people on the board right now who have young kids. I think that’s important. It seems like when you have a diverse community, a lot of people from different backgrounds, different perspectives, the seven board positions need to reflect that diversity. Being a parent with young kids and being a small business owner … it seems like a good fit. Me being on the school board fits into being a balanced board."
