Duluth News Tribune

A young boy reported that a stranger asked if he wanted to make some money by going behind a building near Woodland Avenue and Redwing Street shortly before 6 p.m. Monday, according to the Duluth Police Department. The boy said no and fled the scene. No injuries or assault were reported, according to police.

It’s unknown whether Monday’s incident is related to a sexual assault of a boy in the Woodland neighborhood on Sept. 10, according to police. In that incident, which occurred sometime between 2-6 p.m., the suspect was described as a white male with a crew cut or shaved head, wearing blue pants and riding a light green bike, possibly a mountain bike.
