The 26th Superior Wrestling Classic will take place Saturday in the SHS gym.
Participating schools are scheduled to be Ashland, Bayfield, Eau Claire Memorial, Northwestern, Northwwods/Minong, Shell Lake and Superior. Wrestling is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
The Spartans are led into action with last year's classic champions Robert Murphy (125 pounds), and Nikola Bogojevic (285), who was all-tournament going 7-0 in the Merrill Christmas Tournament.
Murphy became the Spartan all-time win leader with his all-tournament team wins in the Merrill event.
The Spartans lost to Barron 43-33 Thursday night at the Superior Middle School
