Sixteen people were arrested on methamphetamine-related charges as a result of an operation conducted during the past three days, Duluth police said.
The arrests stemmed from several narcotics investigations during the past year, police said. Officers seized 47 grams of methamphetamine, $2,418 in cash and five firearms during the arrests.
The street value of the meth seized is estimated to be about $5,000, said Duluth police spokesman Jim Hansen.

The operation was led by Duluth police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, aided by several other agencies, a police news release said.
Arrested were:
Dennis Patrick Cronin, 52, of Duluth - delivery of methamphetamine.
Richard Allen Earnshaw, 28, of Duluth - controlled substance crime, sale of a controlled substance.
Sadiki Elfundi, 38, of Duluth - sale of a controlled substance, receiving stolen property.
Danial William Erkkila, 42, of Duluth - controlled substance crime, sale of a controlled substance.
Kelly James Michael Jones, 23, of Duluth - abetting controlled substance crime.
Rhonda Renee Jones, 48, of Duluth - controlled substance crime, sale of a controlled substance.

Wade Emory Kassing, 43, of Duluth - controlled substance crime, sale of a controlled substance.
Cheryl Catherine Mae Lawson, 29, of Duluth - aiding and abetting controlled substance crime.
Samantha Ann Mitchell, 27, Duluth - controlled substance crime, sale of a controlled substance.
Mechelle Ann Nelson, 43, of Duluth - sales, possession of methamphetamine.
Michael John Roux, 39, of Duluth - controlled substance crime.
Brandi Jo Shaw, 30, of Duluth - sale of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance in a school, park or public housing zone.
Tony Lee Tharaldson, 55, of Duluth - sale of a controlled substance.
Reginald Franchot Triplett, 42, of Duluth - sale of a controlled substance, stolen property.

Benjamin Harry Kall Jr. 25, of Superior - arrested in Superior on warrants.
Marlon Anthony Bowen, 41, of Detroit - sale of methamphetamine.
Separately, Duluth police said Matthew Jerome Lakosky, 46, of Duluth was arrested and faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested just before the operation began.
