There’s no formal class time. The circuit training runs on three-minute intervals, so you can show up at any time, said Geoff Rich, 9Round co-owner.

What is it: The CPF opened its new location this past fall. It has an aerobic studio, track, open exercise area with cardio and weight machines. Connected to the Essentia Health-Therapy and Performance Center, it’s a natural space for people of all fitness abilities at any stage of life, said sports medicine director John Haugrud. “We want it to be a very safe place for people to utilize.”

Classes (that were formerly offered at Avalon Educational Institute) migrated to the current Superior location about two years ago, said MX Gym massage therapist Devin Welch. They added silks, pole, western weapons and hand-knife fighting, he said.

Studio also offers groups for tweens and kids, once a month Yoga + Beer and full-moon flow at the Hartley Nature Center yurt.
