The Northland Chapter of Grandmothers for Peace begins its 34th annual Gift Drive on Friday, Nov. 22.

The chapter is asking for donations of new and gently used books and art supplies for young people.

In Superior, look for donation boxes at the Superior Public Library and Angie’s Closet. Duluth boxes are located at Peace Church, The Bookstore at Fitger’s, Zenith Books and UMD Children’s Place.

Gifts collected in Duluth will be donated to AICHO; in Superior, they will go to CASDA and Harbor House Crisis Shelters.

The gift drive ends Dec. 23.
