Say ole to an evening of lively music ranging from Spanish dances to a rousing march when the University of Wisconsin-Superior Symphonic Band next week presents "Sousa meets Flamenca."
Held at Thorpe Langley Auditorium in Old Main, the 7:30 p.m. show Thursday has Pamela Bustos leading the band in the Spanish composition "Palindromia Flamenca." Greg Kehl Moore is featured on soprano saxophone.
From there the band presents an arrangement of "Fairest of the Fair," a John Philip Sousa march. The evening also features the debut of the UW-Superior Chamber Wind Ensemble.
