Come to Superior Public Library for stories, music, movies and all-ages fun - all summer long.

We're showing free movies throughout the summer, with upcoming films including "Wonder" (rated PG) at 11 a..m. Saturday; "Pitch Perfect 3" at 6 p.m. July 23; "School of Rock" at 6 p.m. July 30; and "The 15:17 to Paris" at 6 p.m. Aug. 1.

Our evening movies are rated PG-13. Light snacks are available at all movies.

Join us at the library this summer for performances by talented local musicians. On July 31 at 2 p.m., rock out at the library with local teen band Born Too Late, winners of Duluth's Got Talent and the Bay Area Battle of the Bands.

We're thrilled to welcome a local Finnish choir to the library Aug. 9 for a performance at 7 p.m.

Local vocal group The Downbeats performs at 7 p.m. Aug. 14.

The Friends of the Library will provide refreshments for the evening performances. No matter your musical preferences, you'll find something to enjoy at the library.

The library has great offerings for teens this summer, including a new Dungeons and Dragons group organized by Superior High School seniors. Through tabletop gaming, area teens can build relationships and creativity skills. The DND group kicks off with an informational meeting 2-3 p.m. July 24 at the library. Come to the library 1-4:30 p.m. every Thursday starting July 26 for a one-shot adventure or to join a continuous campaign. The Summer Dungeons and Dragons group ends Aug. 30.

Join Northern Expressions Arts Collective at the library at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 4 for another event especially for teens. Celebrate National Clown Day by coming to the library to learn about the history of clowns (it's not all scary horror movies!) and learn how to create your own clown character using makeup and characterization techniques. This event is free and no registration is required.
