McCartney to play Fargodome, Target Field

Former Beatle and rock legend Paul McCartney will perform July 12 at the Fargodome and Aug. 2 at Target Field in Minneapolis, officials announced Monday morning.

Tickets for both Saturday night shows on the “Out There” tour will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 28.

General Manager Rob Sobolik said tickets for the concert, which will be held in a full-house setup in the Fargodome with room for 17,000 or more attendees, will range from $25 up to $251.50.

The Minnesota Twins also announced the Target Field show Monday. Ticket prices will range from $36.50 to $250.

Sobolik said the Fargodome had been trying for years to land McCartney. The Fargo show will start at 8 p.m.; doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Fargodome tickets will be available at the Fargodome box office, online at www.inforumtix.com or by phone at (855) 694-6367.

American Express card members can buy the tickets early during a presale beginning 10 a.m. Thursday through 10 p.m. Sunday.
