Ashland: The past comes alive as an array of horse-drawn vehicle and costumed passengers take visitors back to a bygone era during the 32nd annual Sleigh and Cutter Rally at the Northern Lakes Great Lakes Visitors Center. Hookup and free sleigh rides at 11 a.m. The exhibition begins at 1 p.m.

Duluth: The Head O'The Lakes Chapter of Military Officers Association of America meets for lunch at 11:30 a.m. at the Pickwick Restaurant, 508 E. Superior St. Duluth. The guest speaker is chapter member Rick Lindberg, who presents a slideshow about late father, Chuck Lindberg, and his service in the Pacific Theater during World War II, including being part of the first flag raising on Iwo Jima. Maple: Douglas County 4-H hosts a free project night 6:15-8 p.m. at Northwestern High School. Volunteers lead sessions on art, small animals, STEM projects and other activities, and community club leaders answer questions about their clubs.
