Village of Solon Springs Resolution #2022-01-31 MUNICIPAL GOVERNING BODY PETITION TO DISCONTINUE PORTION OF VILLAGE STREET The Village Board of the Village of Solon Springs, Douglas County, Wisconsin, by this Resolution, adopted by a majority of the Village Board on a roll call vote with a quorum present and voting with proper notice having been given, resolves and declares as follows: The public way, described below as Street: Jackpine Avenue; from the east right of way line of Business 53 to the west of the right of way line of S. Railroad Street – will be discontinued and vacated under Wis. Stat. 66.1003. The discontinuance of the Street will not result in a landlocked property and no owner of property abutting the discontinued Street will be damaged by the discontinuance. The discontinued Street will be vacated and the land awarded to the owner or owners of real estate abutting the discontinued Street per Wis. Stat 66.1005. The vacated right of way will revert back to Wisconsin Central Ltd. As the only adjacent landowner. The Village Clerk, shall properly publish notice of this Resolution and hearing date as a Class 3 notice and other notices as required pursuant to Wis. Stat. 66.1003 (8)(a), as well as file the lis pendens required pursuant to Wis.
