Request for Bids: The Village of Poplar request bids to remove culvert.

Request for bids:
The Village of Poplar request to remove one 36" x 45' culvert on Bayfield Road and replace it with a 48" x 55' culvert with slight angle to the west to match the creek. Must follow DNR and County Aid to Bridges regulations on installation of pipes, rip rap and silt fencing as needed. Bids should include cost of all materials (fill, rip rap, etc.) except the culvert which will be supplied by the Village of Poplar.
The village will be responsible for road closure. The project must be completed by September 30, 2021. All sealed bids must be submitted to the Village Board Meeting by Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. A copy of proof of insurance must be included with your bid. Bids may be delivered in person or mailed to Gina Ormond (Culvert Bid), PO Box 137, Poplar, WI 54864. The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Bids will be opened at the Village Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m.
