Jen Zettel-Vandenhouten serves as regional editor, overseeing online and print production for the Cloquet Pine Journal and the Superior Telegram.

A journalist with more than 10 years of experience in the industry, she has covered education, general assignment and solutions stories during that time. She has also edited opinion content and focused on audience engagement.

Zettel-Vandenhouten's work has received awards from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. Her teams have received recognition from WNA and the Minnesota Newspaper Association.

She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

She speaks English and just enough Spanish to navigate her way through Buenos Aires, Argentina.
