Northland television viewers will have five new options beginning next month.

KDLH-TV, Duluth’s CW affiliate, will begin offering the Justice, Laff, Court TV, Escape and Quest networks as over-the-air digital sub-channels in May.

Justice Network (channel 3.2) “provides a first-of-its-kind public service initiative that helps catch fugitives, find missing children and provide safety tips to viewers,” according to a news release.

Laff (3.3) advertises sitcoms including “Home Improvement,” “According to Jim,” “That ’70s Show,” “Grace Under Fire” and “Night Court.”

Court TV (3.4) is a reboot of the long-running cable network that is “devoted to live gavel-to-gavel coverage, in-depth legal reporting and expert analysis of the nation’s most important and compelling trials.”

Escape (3.5) shows movies and series advertised as “daring, sexy and anchored in stories of crime and mystery.”

Quest (3.6) is billed a network that “entertains and informs its viewers with exhilarating adventure programming about nature’s greatest dangers dangers, history’s greatest mysteries and man’s greatest achievements.”

Justice, Laff, Escape and Quest will be available May 1, with Court TV launching May 8. To find the stations, viewers may need to rescan their TVs or digital boxes or check with their cable or satellite provider.
