KUWS hosts its second annual student auction this May. This year, the #WeAreCollegeRadio auction takes place at 7 p.m. May 1.
Donations from area businesses will be auctioned off in fifteen-minute increments accompanied by a mix of light jazz.
Proceeds from the #WeAreCollegeRadio Auction go directly toward KUWS, allowing much needed equipment upgrades, converting the station’s large library of vintage vinyl into digital before it becomes too degraded to salvage, and provides travel money to the annual WBA Student Radio Conference in Madison.
Donated items will be displayed on the Auction’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/#!/WeAreCollegeRadio and updates will be posted on Twitter, @WeRCollegeRadio.
Call 715-394-9530 or 1-800-300-8530, or send an email to kuwsauction@gmail.com
UWS senior Jordan Titus is organizing and implementing the #WeAreCollegeRadio Auction as part of his senior capstone project.
