The Head of the Lakes United Way is collecting school supplies for area students through its annual Stuff the Bus campaign.
New school supplies can be donated through Aug. 23 at drop-off sites throughout the area. Superior sites include Barkers Island Inn, BMO Harris Bank, Edward Jones Superior — Jason Rolfe and Robyn Lings, Empower Superior Nutrition, Fen-Tech, RE/MAX Results-Superior, the Oakes Avenue Super One Foods, Superior Choice Credit Union, the school district office and The Pottery Burn Studio.
The most needed supplies in the Superior School District are wide-ruled notebooks, markers, No. 2 pencils, pocket folders, scissors, earbuds, youth-sized underwear and socks, pink erasers, reusable water bottles and child-sized cloth masks.
To make a monetary donation to the drive, mail a check to Head of the Lakes United Way, 424 W. Superior St., Suite 402, Duluth, MN 55802. Write “Stuff the Bus – Superior" in the memo line.
