Molly Turchi and Keara Radtke, juniors at Superior High School, were the Youth Optimists for May.
Radtke is involved in Youth Leadership, Pledgemakers, swimming and volunteers at her church. She is the daughter of Lesa and Ray Radtke. She has a younger brother who is 14. Her plans for after High School are to attend college and become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
Turchi is involved in drama and theater. She also volunteers at her church and at Superior Public Museums. She is the daughter of Dawn and Steve Turchi. She has a younger sister, and an older brother. She has several plans for after high school. She would like to go to cosmetology school and also go to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design to be a photographer. She would love to eventually own her own business.
Turchi and Radtke were the final Youth Optimists for the 2016-2017 school year. They have the chance to win the Youth Optimist Scholarship and Service Award.
The Optimist Club would like to thank all of this year's Youth Optimists for a great year.
