A Superior teenager raised more than $2,500 for the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse.
Mackenzie Cook successfully organized and ran her first fundraiser to help combat human trafficking in Superior. The fundraiser, held in January 2021 for Human Trafficking Awareness Month, raised $2,586.30.
The money Cook raised will help provide education and support services for victims and survivors of human trafficking in the Superior area.
In an email to the Telegram, Cook thanked everyone who donated for making the fundraiser a success.
