School supply drive kicks off in Superior

Items needed include notebooks, pencils, headphones and backpacks.

Head of the Lakes United Way will hold its annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive for the Superior School District through Aug. 22.

All supplies collected will be delivered directly to district officials and distributed to students who need them.

Supplies in high demand include wide-ruled notebooks, pocket folders, markers, crayons, pencils, scissors, earbuds, headphones, pink erasers, reusable water bottles, backpacks and youth size underwear and socks.

Drop off locations can be found throughout Superior.

They include Jason Rolfe and Robyn Lings with Edward Jones; Nick Korhonen American Family Insurance; The Pottery Burn; Re/Max Results; the shoreline and Tower Avenue Superior Choice Credit Union locations; Fen-Tech; Superior Impact Nutrition; Superior Empower Nutrition; the Superior School District Office, 3025 Tower Ave.; BMO Harris Bank; Barker's Island Inn; and both the Oakes Avenue and Harborview Super One Foods stores.
