Roxy Mattson felt like something needed to be done. After getting a little overgrown during the pandemic, Mattson wanted to do something to help the victory garden outside the Richard I. Bong Heritage Center in Superior, so she offered to volunteer. On her first day volunteering Mattson was in the dirt digging up weeds to help the garden get back on track.

"It's my kind of therapy," Mattson said with a big smile as her shovel kicked up soil Monday, May 3.
