Western Lake Superior Habitat for Humanity's Age in Place program is seeking home repair applicants from Carlton, St. Louis, Lake and Douglas counties.

The program works with older adult homeowners to safely maintain their homes. The repair projects typically focus on meeting the safety, accessibility and health needs of the homeowners, such as accessibility ramps, hand rails, stair repairs, light landscaping and gutter maintenance, according to a news release from the organization.

To be eligible to apply, homeowners must be at least 65 years old and meet the income requirements between 30%-80% of the area median income.

Those interested in applying can visit wlshabitat.org to download an application or email repairs@wlshabitat.org to have an application emailed or mailed to their home.
