The University of Minnesota Duluth Senior Design Studio class launched “Lend a Paw,” a virtual art exhibition, on Friday to benefit the Humane Society of Douglas County.

The fundraiser runs through May 5. The nonprofit, located in Superior, aims to provide care for animals in need of protection.

In addition to the online gallery is a "Lend a Paw" GoFundMe page, Redbubble shop with shirts, stickers and mugs, and a Facebook page.

Visit to tour a lakeside gallery of student-made works with a pet rescue theme. On the walls are digital paintings and graphic illustrations of dogs and cats with their respective pictures hanging nearby. Step outside to see more artwork — and trees blowing in the wind, a dog, Skipp, and a cat, Chicken, in the courtyard.
