University of Wisconsin-Superior student-athletes will be at Super One Harbor View at 2202 E. Second St., Superior, ringing bells for the Salvation Army on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Last year, Yellowjacket Athletics received an award from the Salvation Army for its dedication to the bell ringing effort.
“As a department we’re very excited to once again be dedicating time in December to give back to the community,” said Nick Bursik, UW-Superior athletics director. “Our student-athletes and staff look forward to this week. All of the different activities during the course of the week let us do something to benefit many different groups that need help during the season.”
UW-Superior’s Yellowjacket Athletics is taking part in its fourth-annual Week of Giving through Sunday, Dec. 15.
