The Old-Brule Historical Society is seeking vendors for in indoor-outdoor flea market Saturday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Maple Town Hall.
The sale is a fundraiser for the Monticello School Museum and Archives on Highway 2 in Maple. Funds are needed for completion of its restoration.
The flea market will have 16-by-10-foot outdoor spaces available for $10; add an 8-foot table for $15. Six-foot indoor spaces will be available for $25; table provided.
There will also be a large indoor rummage sale. Food will be available for purchase.
Vendor registration is due by Aug. 21. Forms will be available at oldbrule.org or send your name, phone number and what you will be selling, along with your registration fee, to OBHS Flea Market, P.O. Box 24, Maple, WI 54854.
Donations for the rummage sale will be accepted Friday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No clothing or electronics will be accepted. Pre-price donated items if possible.

The Monticello School was built in 1890 in the town of Lakeside, then part of the town of Brule. It is now located on a new walk-out basement on the site of the Old-Brule Town Hall and Maple school site at the corner of U.S. Highway 2 and County Highway F near Northwestern High School in Maple.

The Old-Brule Heritage Society is in the process of restoring the one-room schoolhouse for a multi-use school museum and a storage area for the organization's collection.
