Nebagamon kids entertained with books

Lake Nebagamon's first library, the Imogene McGrath Memorial Library, held a story time last week. More than 20 children were entertained by Donna Quinn who read several stories about animals to the children.

Lake Nebagamon's first library, the Imogene McGrath Memorial Library, held a story time last week. More than 20 children were entertained by Donna Quinn who read several stories about animals to the children.

Quinn read in the Mary Chisholm Quinn Children's Corner, which is dedicated to her mother-in-law. Mary Chisholm Quinn grew up in Lake Nebagamon on the property adjacent to the library.

Children up to age 5 were able to sign up for the Dolly Pardon Imagination Library.

Story times continue on Wednesdays from 1:30-2 p.m. through Aug. 12. The final session will feature a picnic as well as a visit from the Duluth Zoo's courtesy of the Friends of the Library. Future story readers include Linnea Moss, Larissa Vik, Jan Conley, Betsy Hendricks, and Kirsten Standon. For more information call the IMML at (715) 374-3477.
