Superior's Darlene Leafgren participated in the third annual Mush for a Cure Sled Dog fundraiser March 14. She helped raise more than $23,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The event along the Gunflint Trail included 34 dog mushing teams, four skijors, almost 100 volunteers and hundreds of spectators.
