With coronavirus continuing to present new challenges moving into 2021, the Law Offices of Ledin, Olson, & Cockerham, S.C. welcome two lawyers to help Twin Ports community members with legal issues. Suzanne Blank and Jacob Kaczmarowski have each added unique backgrounds the historic firm.

Blank is an experienced lawyer with deep ties to the area. A resident of Superior, she joined the firm when her law partners of nearly three decades at Till, Salzer & Blank Ltd. both retired.

“When Joseph J. Till, III and Theodore D. Salzer retired, I knew I wanted to find a new firm rather than work on my own. I was nervous to make such a big change. I am very pleased with my decision to join Ledin, Olson & Cockerham, S.C. This is an exceptional firm and I am thrilled to be a part of it” said Blank.

Blank is a graduate of University of Minnesota – Duluth and Marquette University Law School. She is active in many community organizations, including: Challenge Center, Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation and St. Francis Xavier Church.

She helps clients in both Minnesota and Wisconsin with wills, estate planning, probate, elder law, and residential real estate.

Kaczmarowski is a fresh attorney, new to the Twin Ports. Originally from Wausau, Wis, he and his fiancée moved to the area to be closer to family and the outdoors. Throughout law school, Kaczmarowski clerked in criminal defense, estate planning, and family law.

“The novelty of living big places, like Madison and the Twin Cities, wore off and I wanted to start my practice in an area that felt more like home. I look forward to helping clients around the area solve their problems” said Kaczmarowski.

Kaczmarowski is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Madison and Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Between, he worked in the Wisconsin State Legislature. He spends his time with his family in the woods or on the water around the northland.

Kaczmarowski is a licensed Minnesota attorney, expecting Wisconsin licensure in April. He concentrates on criminal, family, or estate issues.

“COVID 19 has changed everybody’s day to day lives and that includes law practice. We are excited to have Suzanne and Jacob on board. Their skills and abilities help the firm continue to seamlessly serve our clients” said Steve Ledin, a partner attorney.

Ledin, Olson & Cockerham, S.C. has served clients with all varieties of legal problems since 1915. The law firm has seven skilled attorneys who live in the Twin Ports and practice in all legal areas throughout the northland. The firm offers the knowledge associated with a large law firm while maintaining the personalized service of a small firm.
