Three Northwestern High School seniors have been named to the Heart of the North Academic All-Conference Team for their outstanding academic performances. Samuel Knapp, Katie Mahocker and Branden Largent were chosen for the honor based on their cumulative GPA, ACT or SAT scores and participation in school organizations, activities and programs. Other students in the region who were named to the team include Molly Burger, Erica Swenson and Natalie Williamson of Hayward.
; Jaclyn McHugh, Scott Lee and Holly Hanson of Ladysmith; and Jennifer Van Etten, Shelby Seckora and Carrie Krueger of Spooner.
