Charter and its advertising sales division, Charter Media, host the ninth annual Women Rock breast cancer fundraiser event, sponsored by St. Luke's, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 2 at Spirit Mountain in Duluth.
"Women Rock is a fun local event that creates awareness about breast cancer, and its effects on women of all ages," said Melissa Morris, vice president and general manager for Charter's Minnesota operations "Throughout the past eight years, the Duluth community has come together to raise over $237,000 at the Women Rock fundraiser.
All proceeds are donated to the St Luke's Foundation and go toward breast cancer education, equipment upgrades and care.
Women Rock attendees have plenty of shopping opportunities, and can pamper themselves at spa booths and enjoy delicious food samples. Live stage shows and breast cancer education -- will take place throughout the day as well as a silent auction from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Spirit Mountain, 9500 Spirit Mountain Place, Duluth.
Admission for Women Rock is $3.
