The weather cooperated Friday, Sept. 17, as cheers for the mighty Spartans carried down Hammond Avenue to 28th Street during the homecoming parade.

The Superior High School Marching Band kicked off the festivities, followed by floats carrying teams and clubs. Even some elementary students got in on the action as some schools brought students out to watch the floats roll by.

The parade preceded the Spartans' football game against Rice Lake Friday.
